Overview

Welcome to Rottneros Vallvik! For unauthorized personnel, notification is required to be present on the lumberyard. See Signs/info for assembly points in case of an emergency.

SAFETY

Smoking is forbidden on site, except at designated locations. 30 km /h speed limit applies on the area. Idle driving is prohibited. Use seat belts. Alcohol and drugs are forbidden! Tests are performed by random or in suspicion.

Full-length clothing, helmets, protective shoes and visibility clothes are mandatory protective equipment. Truck drivers are not allowed to unload if any of these are missing.

Wood pulp

Before loading, drive to the truck and leave the shipping documents.

During loading it is important that you and the truck driver have a good view of each other and maintain eye contact.

Keep a proper distance to the truck driver during the loading. The truck driver are not allowed to stand behind the forklift or on the trailer.

Lumber logs

The forklift driver are not allowed to start unloading until he has eye contact with the truck driver. The truck driver must stand by the the side of the trailer and be active during unloading.

Wood chips

Wood chips must be unloaded at the wood chip pocket. Trailers must be cleaned/swept by the truck driver after unloading.
